ORDINANCf; OF 'rHE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
&~ENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 1979-80 TO
PROVIDE ADDITIONAL FUNDS r,OR THE COOPERA'riON AGREEMENT
WITH Tire SANTA CLARA COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY.
ORIGINAL
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article III
of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on June 18~ 1979,
d).d adopt a budget for fiscal year 1979~80; and
' HHEREAS_, thP. Ci+.:y of Palo Alto currently contracts with the Santa
Clara C~1nty Housing Authority for the Piggyback Program; and
I·IHEREAS, the Council ()£ t;1e City of Palo l-'...1 to wishes to provide
additional funds for the extension of seven leases in that contract
for a period of nine (9) months:
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN
~-1s follows:
SECTION 1. The sum of Five Thousand One Hundred Thirty Dollars
($5,130} is appropriated to the Housing Program of the Planning
Department and the unappropriated balance of the Special Housing Fund
is correspondingly decreased.
SECTION 2. •rhis ordinance shall become effective immediately as
provided in Section 12 of Article III of the Charter and Section
2.04.375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
