ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET POR THE FISCAL YEAR 1979-80
TO PROviDE FUi"mS FOR A Fi:ASiiHLlTY :5TUDY TO
ORIGINAL
EXCAVATE REFUSE MATERIAL FOR THE SANITARY LANDFILL COVER
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article III
of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on June 18, 1979,
did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1979-BO; and
~lEREAS, the City of Palo Alto desires to conduct a geotechnical
feasibility study 1o.r the use of refuse material to cover the sanitary
landfill.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN
as follows:
SECfiON l, The sum of Nine Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars
( $9, BOO) is ap.propr ia ted to the Sy'.> terns Improveme<;t Frograi\t of the
Refuse Operating Budget and the r~serve for Systems Improvement of
the Refuse Utility Fund is correspondingly decreased.
SECTION 2. The Council finds that this is not a project for pur
poses of the California Environmental Quality ,Act and no environmental
asses., •. ,ent. is necessary.
SECTION 3. This ordinanc~ shall become effective immediately as
provicfect in--section 12 of Article III of the Charter and S::Ation
~.04.375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
