ORDINANCE NO. 2772
ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGE~. FOR FISCAL YEAR 1973-74 TO
PROVIDE FUNDING FOR THE DOWNTOWN BEAUTIFICATION
AND LIGHTING PROJECT (PROJECT NO. 71-80)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article
III of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto,. the Council did on
June 18, 1973, adopt a budget for fiscal year 1973-74~ and
WHEREAS, the final design on the bidding procedures for the
Downtown Beautification.:..and .Lighting. Project (Pr()(ject No. 71-80)
indicate that expected costs will be $49,000 higher than origin
ally anticipated:
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. The appxopriation from the Capital Improvement
Fund for the Downtown: Beautification: and Lighting Project
(Project No. 71-80) be·increased·by $49,000 and the unappropriated
balance of the Capital Improvement Fund be correspondingly
reduued.
SECTION 2~ This ordinance shall become effective immedi
ately as prov1ded in Section 12 of Article III of the Charter
and Section 2.04.375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
