ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE. BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 1973-1974 TO
ESTABLISH A PROJECT FOR THE LAh~ BOWLING CLUBHOUSE
EXPANSION IN THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR $30,000
WHEREAS, ptrrsuant· to the provisions of Section 12 of Article
III of the Charter of the·City·of Palo Alto, the Council of the
City of Palo Alto did on· ~·une 18, 1973, adopt a budget for fiscal
year 1973-74; and
WHEREAS, funds are required to provide for an expansion of
the clubhouse at the lawn-bowling green; and
WHEREAS, the Council wishes to participate in the financing
of the clubhouse· expansion;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. A new-project for Lawn Bowling Clubhouse Expan
sion ls estabifshed in· the· Capital Improvernent Fund and $30,000
is appropriated for that·porpose and reducing the unappropriated
balance of the Capital Improvernen t Fund by $30,000. Miscellan(::ous
Revenues in the General Fund are increas~d by $20,000 to reflect
participation in this project by the Lucie Stern Estate and Palo
Alto Lawn Bowls Club 1 Inc.
SECTION 2. This·ordinance shall become effective i.mmediettely
as prov1ded 1n Section 12 of Article III of the Charter and
Section 2.04.375 of the ·Palo Alto Municipal Code.
