ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT TO RELOCATE A SANITARY SEWER
EASEMENT OF THE EAST PALO ALTO SANITARY DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the East Palo Alto Sanitary District, hereinafter
referred to as "District," desires to relocate its existing
sanitary sewer easement and facilities on land owned by the City
of Palo Alto and it would be beneficial both to the District and
to the City to relocate said easement as recited in the agreement
therefor attached hereto;
NOW, · 'l'HEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto dc>es
OP~AIN as follows:
SECTION 1. The Mayor hereby is authorized to execute on
behalf of the City of Palo Alto the document entitled "Agreement
--Relocation of Sanitary Sewer Easement" between the City and
the District, which is attached hereto and by reference made a
part hereof as though fully set f"rth herein.. Said easement
shall be subject to each and e\"ery condition, term, and provision.
of said agreement, Article VIII of the Charter of the City of
Palo Alto, and Chapter 22.08 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
The terres and conditions of said agreement along with such
other plans, plots, sketch~s, diagrams, and the like which may
be viewed by the City Council as of the ~nactment of this ordi-
nance, as modified by said City Council and subject to any f~rther
approva~ of the City ,staff or City:Council as may have been.provided
in said agreement or othe.rwise, hereby are adopted as a development
plan required by Section 22.08.005 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code
and Article VIII of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto for the
lands herein which have been dedicated for park purpo~'es.
SECTION 2. The Council hereby finds that the enactment of
th.is ordinance and the project authori.zed hereunde.t· will have
no significant effect on the environment~
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective thirty
days from the date of its passage.
