ORDINANCE OF THE COL~CIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGE'!' FOR THE FISCl\L YEAR 1973-74,
PROJECT 73-45, FOR LANDSCAPE IMPROVE~lliNTS AT THE
CO~~UNITY-CULTURAL·CENTER
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of
Article III of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council
did on June 13, 1973, adopt a budget for fiscal year 1973-74; and
WHEREAS, the Council has included in the 1973-74 budget,
Capital Improvement Fund, Project 73-45, Community Cultural Center
Improvements, Phase II, to provide for a garden patio; and
WHEREAS, certain citizen groups will raise and contribute
$3,601 to Project 73-45 to covec the purchase of planting materials
and design fees; and ·
WHEREAS, the project appropriation should be increased to
provide for the contribution and expenditures;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN as follovlS:
SECTION 1. Increase the appropriation for Capital Improve-
ment Fund Project 73-45 by $3,601 and increase miscellaneous revenues
by $3,601.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
· as prov~ded in Section 12 of Article lll of the Charter and
Section 2. 04.375 of !::.he Palo Alto Municipal Code.
