INVlTATION FOR BIDS
A request ro.. bids Ie< !he SOuthgate Gas Plumblng Modificalions was sen! out by the City
on August 18. 1995. The mandalory pre-bid meetlng on September 11, 1995 was
Qlnce1ed wilen only one pofenfial bidder a!lended. An addendum was mailed 10 an bid
package IlokIers setting a new pre-bid meefing dale 0( $ej:!ember 21 and moving the bid
opening dale 10 Oc!ober 1D. 1995. Six con!raclors, including !he original bidder who crod
resubmit a second bid, atlended!he new September 21, 1995 mandatOl)' pre-bicI
meeting. This bid was advertised ro.. 35 days before the September 21 pre-bid meeting
and 54 days prior 10 bid opening. The bid was sen! 10 a IoIaI 0( 24 conIraclofs and 15
