RSSOWTION OF TIIB C<)UNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
ORDBIUNG WEED Nt)ISA!:CB ABATED
~~. this Council did on november 13, 1995, adopt its
ResoluCioo No. 7551 declaring weeds to bE a nuisan~e and setting
December 4. 1995 .. at. 7.:00 p.m .• in the Civic center as the time and
place tor a hearing of Objec~!on8 to the proposed destruction or
removal of weeds; and
WHEREAS, in a.ccordance with said Re801u·tioo, notice of such
hearing vas given in the manner provided by laY, as appears from
the affidavits on file in ~be Office ot tbe City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, interested persons appeared or filed
written Objections against said proceedings or any part thereof,
all PErsons d~siring to be beard were given an opportunity to be
heard., and a.ll matters and things pertaining to said "Weed abate1l'lE!nt
were fully heard and considered by this Coun.ci_l.
NOW. 'I'HEUFORE. the Council of the City of Falo Alto does
hereby RESOLVE as follows:
SBC1'ION 1. An, and all objections to the pruposed
destruction or removal of such weeds be~ and each of t~em bereby
is .. overruled.
SECTION 2. The Fire Chief hereby is ordered to abate such
nuisance.. or cause tbe same to be abated by contract wit.h the
Cowlty of Santa Clara, and as provided in Cha~er 8.08 of the palo
Alto 'Municipal Coder and to do all things 'O.ecessary and authoriz.ed
in said cha~er.
SECTION 3. Tbe City COuncil. by a~ion of the aforesaid
.Resolution No .. 7551 .. adoopted a Nega.tive Declara.tion for this
project. No furt~er environmental assess~nt is required.
