The current admlnlstrative procedure is 10 not accept • building permit app!ica!ion until the ARB process is complete. This results in project deiays, in some cases, 0( bJr 10 six weeks fur the permit applicant. Staff has investigated the recommendation and finds it 10 be an excellent opportunity 10 significantly reduce the process time foe some projects which require review and approval 0( the ARB.
