Won: under this contract includes sidewalk repair and replacement, and Americans with
Disabilities Act (ADA) curb ramp construction in the area bounded by Hale Street:, FO<est
Avenue, Lincoln Avenue and San Francisquito Creek (Attachment A).
Plans and specifications were dL,1ributed 10 eigllt gener.! circulation .xchanges, and fifteen
contractors were nntilled by mail that Plans and Specifications were Ivrulable fur a fee \0
pcospective bidders. Seven gene<al contractors picked up specifications ptio< 10 the bid
opening. Bids were received from six qualified contractors on May 30, 1995, as listed on the
attached summary (Attachment B). S:affbas te\iewed aD bids submitted and recommends that
the low bid ofS243,562.9(), submitted by Sancbez Concrete C.onstruction, Inc, h<: determined
by Q>uncillo be the lowest respoosib1e bid and that th< contract be av.1llded aecwfmgly. Bids
