EXECUTIVE SUMMARY In Deoember 1989, the Polo Alto Child Care Task Force presented the City Council with its five-year Child C~ MOSler Plan. The Flan was accepted by the Council who thon directed the Child Care Task Foree to implement the recommendations enunciated in the report. Between J989 and 1994, L~e Child Care Task Force worked to establish programs and deveh::op partnerships aimed at implementing the goaJs in the Master Plan.
