RECOMMENDA nONS
Staff m:ommends that Qluncl adopt the attacbed Budget Amendment Ordinance in the amount
of $20,000 in cover costs associated with the deyelopmen~ design and printing of the
educational brochure and associated materials.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
As. =WI of the approval of the resolution dividing the downtown area into foW" zones and
restricting parldng in these zones, a need has been identified to educate visitors, employers and
employees who work in the downtown area, Siaff has begnn working with the Palo Alto
Chamber-of Commerce to bring together aH necessary information that would be included in
• user-friendly br~hure and other collateral materials. These materials wilt be distributed
daring meetings and gatherings, and during the warning phase. to familiarize downtown
