EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Utilities Department sought approval of tile 1995 Refrigerator Rebare Program proposal
from the Utilities Advisory C.ommission on April. 5, 1995. The UAC re~1OO Ihe proposal
since tile progrr.m was only marginally <:ost effective.
Staff agrees wit!! tile UAC'. decision and ... ill not propose the 1995 ReJrigerato< Rebate
Program 10 Cooncil. The UAC has due<:1ed .taff \0 return in July 1995, with a
comprebensive policy on bow energy efficiency programs will be developed and evaluated
in tile future.
