EXJ;;fUTIVE $1J}lMARY
The Utilities DepartnwllI Electric SCADA System B used pr'.marily 10 IOOnitor and control
the C"IIy's electric transmission and distribution systems. It is located at the Utilities Control
Center near the Munlcipal Servke Center. The Electric SCADA System was originalIy
designed, purchased frOOl, and installed by the coosuldng firm of landis and Gyr. The
pr<>grams and support involved are crilkal 10 the operation of the SC.ADA System and must
be maintained 00 a regular basis.
However, f<x the past seven years, 1. 1'. Se"ices hs been the SDftwarc and database
contraclO< for the SCADA System. They have 21 years experience woddng widt SCADA
systems and have .. his!o!y of providing e~c"r!elli response 10 OOT requests. 1. P. Servires
