He reconfirmed hls position taken in earlier meetings regarding an instrument approach at Palo Alto. In principle, he has no objections. However, before he can commit, he needs to review the FAA proposed approach procedure befo~ it is esteblished. This requirement should be easily satisfied as be 'will likely be 8l!k~ to be part of t.he wot'king group established by the FAA to develop the instrument approach once-it has been requested by the Count.Y. The CDm.r--...ittee believes that b.av-ing an instnlment approach at the Palo .AJto PJrport wiU increase the utility and safet.Y of the airport for those who use their airplanes for business in marginal wE-ather condition:::.
