WH:EREAS .. pursuant to the provlslOfle of section 12 of Article
111 of the Charter of the City of P310 Alto, the council on June
~O. 1994 did adopt a budget for fiscal year ~994-9S; and
WHEREAS .. Council appropriated $~3,2.7 tor a Human Services
contract with East Palo Alto Youth Development Center; and
WHBitEAS ... t.he East Palo. Alto Yout.h Development Center ceased
operations in the fall -of 199~ and did ~ expend the appropriated
funds; and
WHSREAS 1 the Human £(:elations Commie:sion recommends a.
reallocation of the $13,24: appropria~~on to the Palo A1to Ubified
SChool District, Mayfield Community Ciinic, and ~~ramoote Mental
Health Services to augment current service6~
