Meeting with congresswgman Eshoo
Members of the council:
This is an informational report to info~m council that on December
14, :1993, Congresswoman Anna Eshoo .. ill meet with several City
representatives to di&CllSS utilities issues .. Representing t.he city
will be Councilmembers Mike Cobc and Rich;:!rd Rosenbatull, city
Manager June Fleming, and Utilities Director Edward Krizek.. Also
in attendance will be Ncrthern California Power Aqency Assistant
General Hanaqer Roger Fontes ..
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss federal activity related
to the city's utilities. The congresswoman will be introduced to
the nature and benefits of the Cityls utilities. '!'hen the agenda
will move to federal activities, pri~arily related to Western and
the Central Valley Project~ The Cityrs involvement in recent
environmentally related federal power reform will be noted. City
concerns regarding future federal power contracting will also be
discussed, as well as other important issues.
The meeting is scheduled to beg-in at 11:00 a~Iri~ in the city
Manager's Conference Room at 250 Hamilton Avenae.
