Hewlett-Packvrd has Qffered the use of its facility at 395 Page
Mill Road for CO!i:preh~mei'-le Plan Advisory ComTI1ittee community
design \omrkahops to be held on Apt-il 23 and April 24. 1994. The
worKshops will be held ill the employee cafeteria and adjacent
patio ~H·ea8.
lIewlett·Packat:'d lias offered use of the facility with the
following three conditions:
1) The City will indemnify and hold Uewlett-packard
halmleBB fot" injury (including death) or damage to
prope):'ty resulting from-the activities on the site by
the wo-=-kahoPJ '
2) Any confidential infor.mation about Hewlett-Packard that
the workeh~p m~mber(6) obtain while on the Bite shall
not be diBcloaed unless Hewlett~Packard consents. In
order to fulfill ,this obligation, the City will make
announcements at each wor-kahop notifying workshop
m~~harB of this obligation.

Dear Mr. Cohen-Hadria:
·The City of Palo Alto acknowledges the offer by Hewlett
Packard to allow the City to use Hewlett~Packard facilities at 395
Page Mill Road on April 23 and April 24, 1994, for the purpose of
conducting Comprehensive Plan Advisory Conwtttee C.CPAC.)
workshops. In accordance with the req~leBt of your attornoy, Pl'ank
Pedra2a~ to Will Beckett, dated March 22, 1994, the City her.\oby
agrees to the following, in cOllllection with City u&e of the
Hewlett-Packard facilities;
1. The City will indemnify and hold Hewlett· Packard
harmless from any claim for injury (including death) or damage to
property resulting from the activities on t.he sit.e by the workshop.
2. Any confidential information about Hewlett-Packard
that the workshop member(s) obtain while on the site shall not be
disclosed unless Hewlett-Packard consents. In order to fulfill
this obligation, the City will make announcements at each wO'J:k:shop
notifying workshop members of this obligation.
3. The City acknowledges that Hewlett-Packard's consent.
