Funds have been appropriated in the FY 1992-93 Public Works Department operating budg,~t and in ADA of 1990 Compliance, CIP 19309. Discussion Work under this contract includes modification of exterior routes and parking spaces at 4' Ci',y facii.itiesj modificat.lo.on of parking spaces at 27 city parking lot~; and construction of curb ramps at 12 locations on Hamil ton and Forest Avenues as requested .by the Hesperian Foundation located on Hamilton Avenue. Bids were received from three qualif ied contractors as ~hown on thG attached suittitlary. Staff recOIrunends that the bid of $261~54S.25, submittea by B & B Cor.crete Construction Company Inc" be determined by Council to be the lowe:;;t responsible bid and that the contract be awarded accordingly~ This bid is 16 percent beloVi the engineerrs estimate of $312,024.50.
