THE "DREAM T"F-AM" ?Llj,Nl'lING "CHARETTE"
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article
III of the Charter of the Cit}' of palo Alto, the COL1r.cil on June
~2. 1992, did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1992-1993; ana
WHEREAS I Planning and Comrnu;,ity Environment Department staff
is presently participating in ar. ad hoc City-Stanford-Comn1unity
comr.littee, informally "\{no·,,;n as the 'lDre2'~ Team," which is
investigating planning issues on the islar.d of land bounded by Alma
Street, Embarcadero Road, El Can-.inc Real and san Francisquito
Creek; and
WHEREAS, the "Dream Teal!'." is planning a professional planning
'"charette" to explore a variety of de.velopnent concepts for the
designated area; and
WHERE.'S, on Februar:f 22, 1993, the City council approved City
financial participation in the "Dream Team" l1 c harette";
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the Cit:t of Palo Alto does
