This report requests Council approval of Lie nominee recommendations (rom the Palo Alto Golf
Course Corporation to fin two vacancies on its Board of Directors.
Article IV, Section 3 of the Palo Alto Golf Corporation By· Laws state· ... No director shall be
elected t-y the members and no vacancy shall be fltled by the remaining Director of Directors
if his name is disapproved by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, California, within 30 days
of receipt by the Council of the-. notice of the name of such nominee."
Candidates fOT nominations were wlidted from the represerltative golf dubs.
The Palo Alto Golf Cou.rse CorporatiiJT: was organized as a non-profit organization in 1977 to
facilitate golf course improvements. The Board of Directors is constituted so that the foIlO'lol.ring
organizations are represented:
