Planning Comm1ssion Recommendation to Amend the Zoning
Ordinance to [stAblis~ Storage Requireme~ts fDr Recycling
Members of the Council:
This is a'1 informational staff report. No City Council action is required or
recoomended.
On November 13, 1991~ the PTanning CommisSion recommended re~isjons to the
Zoning Or~inance to require ill new non-res;dent~al and multip1e-family
residential deyel~pments to provide on-site storage areas for recyclable
materials. The public hearing for Council consideration of this item has been
advertised for December 23, 1991. If the Council cancels the December 23
~eting. the public hearing will be renot;ced for a Council meeting in early
1992.
