This is an information~l report and no Council action is required.
The Clerk of the Municipal Court for Santa Clara County has re
cently informed all jurisdictions that. due to legislation passed
1n 1~92, section 42001.5 of the California Vehicle Code has been
a~endeQ and Section 1465.6 has been added re~ative to the new pro
visions regarding disabled parking violations (Sections 22500).
Effective January 1, 199J! the bail schedule O~ four disabled park
ing sections has been incr-eased. These State-mandated increases
also inclUde the additional charges by Santa clara county for jail
and court construction fee:; and penalty assessments. The bails are
as follows:
