In addition, staff recommends t..""l.at CoW'.cil a'iithor1ze the City Manager or his oesignee to negotiate and execute amendments for services related to or incidental to the scope of ~crx or services. the v~lue of such amendments shall not excsed $8,500~ Funds for this project have been budgeted in the Capital Improvement Progra:m for F'i 1991-92 ~ Funding will come from three different programs wlthin the elP; Water, Wastewater and the General Fund. Bec'kgxound In an effort to reduce use af potable lIlater and limit 'Waste 'Water discharge to the bay, the city initiated a Water Reclamation Proq~am. Over 1 MGD of reclaimed water has been allocated for Golf Course and Park use. This project caJls for the installation of two reclaimed 'Water lines --one from the Palo ..a. Ito Regional Water Qualit~~ Control Plant to the Palo Alto Golf Course, the other trom the existing Greer Park Reclaimed water Line Cit East Bayshore Frontage Road to the Municipal Service Center. The Golf Course will require a booster pump station consisting of a blending tank. filter and electric controls. rhe Municipal Service center -will requir-e a booster pump and electric controls. Consultant Selection A Request for Proposal fer design and administrative s.er....-ices was distributed in March 1992. Five proposals were received and r-eviewed by staff against the follo~in9 criteria: • The firm's general experience I stability and perfcrcance history on projects of a si~ilar nature. In accordance with the Consultant Selection Procedures, the selection Advisory committee cvnzisting of representatives from Engineerinq, Wate~ Quality Control, Field Operations and Parks, selected the following firms for intervie~s. 1. Each in-,'cice shall be iterrlizE>d as to 1:r.8 q'pe ,:,f p3y-rnent d~scribed in this sectian. 7.1 COUS1JLTANT;S fEES In consideration for the full performance of the Rasic Se.:n.rices and Reimbursable Expenses described in Secti ons 4 and 7 of this Agreement, CITY.agrees to pay CONSCLTA.I\,'T a fee not to exceed Forty-Five Thousand Dollars ($45,000.00) for the Design stage and Twelve Thousand ($12/000.00) for the Ccr.struction S+~age.
