Attached is a brief synopsis of the City's activities this year
relating to the St3tUS ot pending state and federal legislation.
These actions are based on existing legislative positions adopted
by the Council.
Staff is monitoring a nu~ber of additional bills which have the
potential to iopact the City and its operations. These -will be
