Check hedge3 on corners (Churchill/Bryant] to impro~e site distan,e. lO~ Visibility of existing barriers is not very good, particularly at night~ lL The jog ill the bike route in S~nt -A-has a greater impact on bicyc11sts than the proposed jog at the north end (Segment '0"). therefore, extens10n of Boulevard on Bryant is s~pported. ]2. Crossing Embarcadero from the sotJtn is roore dangerous during non-peak hours from Wav~rley than from Bryant. Wa¥er1ey has too many lanes (10 vs. 6 for Bryant) and lIO""e turning movements and confl icts. A signal at 6ryant vould allow residents from the south to access or cross Embarcadero frOB Bryant (the less dangerous intersection). 13~ The existing jog to Waverley s~ould be ~afntijned because bicyclists are separated from the traffiC (vi. bixe lanes). 14. Bike lanes present their own hazards: they oft~n have debris and they prcvide biclCiists ~th a false sense of se(urity. Many drivers actuallJ encroach on bike lanes. 15.
