The purpose of this report is to update Council C'ln the st.atus of
steff'. explorations reqarding the use and disposition of the
Middlefield Well site. This is an informational report and no
Council action is required.

on November 26, 1.990, Council adopted a Budget Amendment Ordin.sncQ
making funds available for the. removal of the tank and auxiliary
buildinqs lac.ted on the Middlefield Well site, directed staff to
further review the Middlefield Well site pa.rcels and make recommen
dations as to City-directed and maintained development of the site.
Council also directed staff to explore ertended opportunities in
conjunction with the neighboring properties and report back to the
Finance and Public Works Committee (F'PW).
