ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS OF THE PALO ALTO MUNICIPAL
CODE TO INCREASE REQUIREMENTS FOR OFF-STREET PARKING
FOR MULTIPLE-UNIT DWELLINGS
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as
fol J.o~s f: ··
SECTION 1. Sectioris 18.16.lQO, 18.18.100, 18.20.100;
18.22.100, and 18.85.110 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code are
each amended so that the first sentences thereof read as-
follows:

"1.25 spaces for each studio dwelling unit,
L 50 spaces for each dwelling unit with one
bedroom, and 2.00 spaces for each dwelling
unit with two or more bedrooms; of such spaces,
at least one per unit shall be covered."
SECTION 2. Section 18.24.100, subsection (a:), is
amended to read as follows:
"(a) 1.25 spaces for each studio dwelling
unit, 1.50 spaces for each dwelling unit with
one bedroom, and 2.00 spaces for each dwelling
unit with two or more bedrooms; of such spaces,
at least one per unit shall becovered.11
SECTION 3. Section 18:34~100 is amended by sub-
stituting the<:following language for ·th~· first two sentences
