ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE. BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1967-1968
TO MAKE AN APDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FOR THE CON-
STRUCTION OF THE ATHLETIC CENTER, PROJECT 66-18
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of
Article III of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council
... did on July lOj 1967 adopt a budget for the fiscal year 1967-

WHEREAS, the Council wishes to make an,additional,app,ro-
. priation in.· excess of the sums appropriated by said budget for

NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of :Palo Alto does
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. That the appropriation in the Capital Improve
ment Fund· for the Bayland Athletic Ceater (Project 66-18) be
increased from Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000) to Three
Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000); that the appropriation in
the General Fund for Contingencies be decreased by $50,000 and
that· the budgeted transfer of Es ti.acited Sales Tax: Revenue to the
Capital Improvement Fund be correspondingly increased; and that
. the un:(lppropriated Balance ~f --i:i:~ Capitat· ·ImprO'vement Fund be
decreased in the net amount of $50,000.
SECTION 2. That this oi·dirtance shall become· effective .
·immediately as pr6vided in Section 12 of Article III of the
Charter and Section 2~04.375-·of. the Palo Alto Munl~ipal Code.
