ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING SECTION' 18.88~110 OF THE.PALO ALTO MUNI.:_
CIPAL CODE TO POSTPONE C0~1PLIANCE WITH PARKING
LOT REQUIREMENTS
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as
follows:
SECTION 1. Subsection (d) cf Section 18.38.110. of the __ :_
Palo Alto Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as fol.lows:
"(d) 'Conformity,~equired. All ~xisting
parking lots not presently conforming to the ·re-.

conformity on: or before July l, 1967, provided
tha,t the date f.or cotnplytng with the paving re
quirements specified in subsection (a) of this
section shall be January 1, 1968, and provided
further that no parking lot lying within the terri
tory known as El Camino Real Widening PJ:"oj ect No.
64-1, shall be subject to the requirements of this
se.ction until-three months following completion of
the project as detel"m:i.ned by the District Engineer,
California Division of Highways, District 4."

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become.effective thirty
days after the date of its passage.
