AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1967-1968
TO MAKE AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FOR CONSTRUCTION
OF THE CIVIC.CENTER, PROJECT 65-06
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Secti~n 12 of
Articl€ III of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the
Council did on July 10, 1967, adopt a budget for the.fiscal
Yf~:\· 196 7-1968; and
WHEREAS, the CouncJl wishes to make an additional ap
propriation in excess of the sums appropriated by said budget
-for the Construction of the Civic Center, Project 65-06 j-

does ORDAIN as follows:
SECTIONL· That the appropriation in the Capital Improve
ment Fund for the Construction of the Civic Center (Project
65-06) be increased from Two million six hundred thirty-two
t~ousand five hundred dollars ($2,632,500) to Three million six

hundred thirty two thousand five hundred dollars ($3,632,SOO)
and that the Unappropriated Balance of the Capital Improvement
Fund be correspondingly decreased •

SECTION 2. -That this ordinartce sha11 becoru~'effective
immediately pursuant to Secti.on 2~04.375 of the Palo Alto
Muni'cipal Code.
