Adoption of Palo Alto Municipal Code -1967,~dition. The following ordinances and laws, and all amend­ ments thereto, are hereby codified in the PAMC ... 1967 Editiori: (1) PAMC -1962 Edition. (2) Ordinance No. 1324, the Zoning Ordinance • . (3) Ordinance No. 1896, the Setback Ordinance. (4) Ordinance No. 1316, the Subdivision Ordinance. {5) Ordinance No. 1709, the Sales and Use Tax Ordinance. (6) Ordinance No. ·1996, Training of Law Enforcement Officers. (7) Ordinctnce No. 1577, the Fluoridation Ordinance. (8) -Ordinance No. :2252, t,he Park Dedication Ordinance. From and after the effective.date of this ordinance, the PA?-1C. -1967 Edition shall constitute the penal and regulatory ordinances of the City of Palo Alto. Nothing con- ·-r.• ·,~, ·• l~;··~": -~· .tained'in this ordinance is intended to affect the valldity 6f , . -3 - .j .. • I • Ordinances Nos. 2324, 23251 2327 and following, which ordinances the City Attorney is hereby directed to cause to be incorporated in the PAMC -1967 Edition. Upon the adoption of any amendment or \ addition to this ·code, or upon the repeal of any of its provisions, the City Clerk shall certify thereto. Duly certified copies of every ordinance mat.ing chang~s in such code shall be filed in the ' office of the City Clerk in books for sucn purpose, duly indexed for ready reference •. The City Attorney is directed to incorporate in regu}.ar supplements to the PA.MC -1967 Edition all amendments, additions or deletions adopted by t.he council. SECTION 4. Violations and Punishment. Any person violating any of the provisions or failing to comply with any of the mandatory requi;-ements, of this code, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. Any"person convicted of a misdemeanor under the provisions of this code, ~unless provision is otherwise herein made, shall be p\inish­ able .by~ fine of not more than five ,hund~ed dollars or by imprisonment in the .. jail of the,City of,l'alo Alto or in the county jail of Santa Clara County (or a period of riot more than six months or by both ,such fine and impris·onment. Each such person shall be guilty of a separate offense for each and every day during any ·portion.of which any violation of any provision .. of this .C(')de ~ifij:ommitted, continued, or permitted by such person and sh~l;l. be. punished accordingly. The title, chapter and section~headings contain-ed in the PAMC -1967 Edit.ion shall not be deemed to govern, limit, modify or in any manne:i· affect the scope, meaning or intent· of the provisions of any title, chapter or section. - SECTION 8. Effective Date. This ordinance and the PA.MC - 1967 Edition shall become ~f fective and in full fore~ and effect ~t 12:01 A.M; on the thirt~-first day after the passage of this ' i ordinance.
