ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING SUBSECTION (a) OF SECTION 11.&2 OF THE PALO
. ALTO MUNICIPAL CODE ESTAB~ISHING. A MAXIMUM OF ONE
YEAR TIME LIMITATION BETWEEN VEHICLE INSPECTIONS
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as
follows:
SECTION 1. Subsection (a) of Section 11.32 of the Palo
Alto Municipal Code is hereby .amended to read as follows:
"a. Every vehicle operatingunder this article
shall be inspected by the Police Department
at such intervals as shall be established
~by the Chief of Police, to insure the con
tinued 1Tlaintenance of safe operating condi
tions. Taxicabs shall be inspected at least
once a year".
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective upon
the expiration.of 30 days from its passage.
