ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF 'lH E CITY OF PALO AL TO
AMENDING SECtlON 11.32 OF THE P~O ALTO MUNICIPAL
CODE REQUIRING A MEDICAL EX..~INATION BEFORE ISSUANCE
OF A DRIVER'S PERMIT
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as
follows:
SECTION l. Section 1L32 of the Palo Alto Municipal_Code
is hereby amended to add a subsection "fu to read as foll&ws:
11 £., An application from any person who intends
to dr:ive a taxicab, shall be accompanied by
a certificate lssu~d within sixty (60) days
inmediately preceding the application, and
· signed by a physici,an licensed by the State
of California, certifying that, in his
opinion, the applicant is not afflicted
with any disease or infirmity which might make
him an'orisafe or unsatisfactory·driver."
