The Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as
follows:
SECTION 1. Section 4.04 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code
entitled "Solicit~rs and Peddlers, Special Regulationsi' is·
hereby amended to add :'i subsection "D" thereto, to read t:ts
fol lo'W.S_: _
D. No person shall solicit or peddle from 6:oo<p.m.
to 9:00 a.m., except that a licensed solicitor
or peddler may call upon the occupant of _a r"1si·
denoe at other times when he has received expre:sa
prior permission from such occupant to do so.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective upon
