HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 2323• ORDINANCE NO. 2323 ORDINANCE OF TH~ COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO AMENDING SECTIONS 2.101, 2.123 AND 2.125 OF THE PALO ALTO MUNICIPAL CODE RELATIVE TO THE TIME OF MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND COUNCIL COMMITTEES The Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as follows: SECTION 1. Subsection a. of Section 2.101 of Chapter 2 (Administrative. Code) of the Palo Alto Municipal Code;.Js hereby amended to read as follows: SEC. 2.101 MEETINGS a. Regular Meetings. . The Council of the City of Palo Alto ·sha!ihold regular meetings in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 1313 Newell Road, in said City or at such other places as may be determined by the Council, on the first four (4) Mondays of each month, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. When the day for any regular meeting of the Council falls on a legal holiday as defined in this code, no meeting shall be held on such holiday, but a regular meeting shall be held at the same hour on the next succeeding·day thereafter that is not a holiday. SECTION 2. Section 2.123 of Chapter 2 (Administrative Code) of the Palo Alto Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: SEC. 2.123 COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC WORKS ·It sha11 be th~ duty of the Committee on Public Works to meet ort the first Tµesday of each month at 7:30 P.M. at the City Hall and to consider and make re.commendations on matters re­ ferred to it by the .Coun~il relating to parks; 1:$.brarl.es; · recrea­ ticm.l:l~ facilities and publ~c works exclusive of ·utilities.
