lows·: -
SECTION __ l.,_ The-Council of the-City of Palo Alto does
find and declare:
A. That the Planning Connnission is actively studying ·
~ezoning of the property in the City of Palo Alto, more fully
described as "subject area 11 in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference to bring said propert:y

into COitformity with the General Plan which now dt:!picts said
area as medium-high density residential (20 dwelling units _
per net residential acre).
B. That new construction or major improvements in the
area would serve to lnterfere with the aforementioned Planning
Commission study for rezoning and redevelopment, and it is
therefore nece~ea~y for construction of new buildings and

SECTION2. Beginning with the effective date cf this

emergency ordinance and shall take effect-immediately upon its
passage~·

Council of the City of Palo Alto on Monday, October 24, 1966 ·

present at the meeting as follows:
