ORDINANCE OF THE COUN~IL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AM.ENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 1966-1967 TO
MAKE AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FOR PURCHASE OF
ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT
WHEREA.S, pursuant t.o the· provisions····of Section 12 of
Article III of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the council
did on July 11, 1966 adopt a budget for the fiscal year 196~-1967,
and
WHEREAS, the· Council wishes to make an additional appropria--'
tion in excess of the sums appropriated by said budget to purchase
electrical equipment for expansion of certain substations;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto DOES
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. That the sum of Three Hundred Forty .~nine ThotJsand
Dollars ($349,000.00) be appropriated in the Capital Purchases
Account of the Electric Fundt&nd that the Reserve for Capital
Additions Account of the Electric Fund be correspondingly·decreased.
SECTION 2. That this ordinance, being an ordinance required
to be passed for the purpose of complying with the Charter, shall
become effective immediately.
