ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING SECTION 19.177.6 OF THE PALO ALTO MUNICIPAL
CODE, MODIFYING TIME DURING WHICH NON-PERMIT HOLDERS
ARE PERMITTED IN PERMIT PARKING J..OTS
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as
follows:
SECTION L section19.177.6 is amended to read as
follows:
"Sec. 19.177.6 Unlawful Parking:
It .. shall_ be unlawf\'!l for any person to cause, allow,
permit, or suffer any vehicle registered .in his name
or operated or controlled by him to be pa·rked in any
parking space in any city-owned parking lot adjacent to which there is 'a sign indicating that such space .
is reserved for permit parking only, without displaying_
a valid permit. therefor as provided in Section 19. 177. 5, ·
except that the prohibition contained herein shall not
apply to the use of such spaces during the period from
6:00 P.M. to 8:00 A.M. or on Sundays and holidays.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective upon
the expiration of thirty days from its passage.
