ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING SECTION 9A.13 OF ORDINANCE 1324, THE ZONING
ORDINANCE, DELETING REFERENCE TO A·USE PERMIT PER
TAINING TO OFF-STREET PA~ING IN THE A-R DISTRICT
SECTION 1. That Sect.ion 9A.l3 of Article 9A (A-R, Adminis
trative, Research District Regulations) of Ordinance No. 1324,
the Zoning Ordinance, is hel:'eby amended to read as follows:
usec. 9A. 13 · Automobi.le Parking:
Ol:te improved car space shall be provided for each·
175 square feet Of rentable floor area. Such parking
spaces may'not be located within the required front
yard nor the first 15 feet of the required side yard
on the street side of a corner lot, measured from the
property line. No ·off-street parking space or means ·
of ingress or egress thereto shall·be located ~ithin
10 feet of any property which is in a residential district.11

SECTION 2~ This ordinance shall become effectiv~e upon the
expiration of thirty days from its passage.
