WHEREAS, the Palo Alto Chamber of Commerce and the Palo Alto Weekly annually present the
Tall Tree Awards to recognize individuals, nonprofits, and businesses that have made exceptional civic
contributions and demonstrated outstanding service to the Palo Alto community; and
WHEREAS, iTalico has distinguished itself as a premier culinary destination, offering an authentic
Italian dining experience rooted in tradition, quality ingredients, and exceptional hospitality; and
WHEREAS, iTalico is committed to crafting thoughtfully prepared dishes that reflect the richness
of Italian culture, while fostering a welcoming environment that brings together residents and visitors
alike; and
WHEREAS, through its dedication to excellence, community engagement, and the local economy,
iTalico has contributed meaningfully to Palo Alto’s vibrant business landscape and sense of place; and
WHEREAS, iTalico’s passion for culinary artistry and commitment to outstanding service
exemplify the spirit of entrepreneurship and community partnership that the Tall Tree Awards seek to
honor.
NOW, THEREFORE I, Vicki Veenker, Mayor of the City of Palo Alto, do hereby recognize and
congratulate iTalico as a recipient of the 2026 Tall Tree Award for Outstanding Business, and express
sincere appreciation for its contributions to the community and best wishes for continued success.
