SEC.TION 2. Sections 212(s) to 212(n), incJ.usive,
are hereby added to this ordinance, to read, re~~pect;ively,

Sec. 212( a.). "Auctioneer'* D·rf'ined. "Auctioneer"

for sale, as principal or· agent, to th(~ highest bidder on the
spot, a?:"ly a.rt:!cle of ::nerchsndi.se or pr1:>perty. "Jewelry
a: .. wtioneer" shall also include any oors1m who sells or offers
for· sale any platinum, gold, ~•ilve;, p'.Lsted isr-e, precious
ztones or semJ.-p:recioi..:.s stones, we.tche:;, or other jewelry, as
principal or a.gent, s. t public outcry, 1; o the h1.3he::: t bidder
on the :spot.
Sec. 212( b). Jewelry At.1c~ion Prohibited.. It shall
be unlawful. for any peTson to conduct n jewelZ"y s.ucti.Jn

on hand of any person who shall for the1 per:tod of om~ year
next preceding such s~'ile.rmve been coni:inuously in business
