The Council of the C~l ty of Palo Al to DO ORDAIN
as follows:
T!:i..at Secti·on 567 of Codii"ied Ordinance No. 3,
as amended by Ordina:nce No.. 622; be amended to read as
follows:
~ec. 56'Z· Interest ...9=.,"'l_deposit. Interest
on deposits so held by the City will be pcLid .at
the prevailing interest rate for savings bank
.acc.ounts as of the date of refund, .~nd shall 'bear
interest from the first day o:f' January, April,
July or October after said deposit is made:.
Interest -shall be paid annually 1n J"anuary·,exi:::ept,
when service i:~ ordered discontinued, accrued
:Lnterest shall be computed to the last day of the
prec.eding quarter, but in no case s:ball interi;:st
be figur'ed for less than a calendar quarter.
The City Clerk is directed to post a copy of

upon passage.
