ORDINANCE NO. 2296
ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF TIIE CITY OF PALO ALTO
ADOPTING A BurlGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1966~1967
WHERF.AS, pursuant to the provisons of Section 6G of
Article IV of the Palo Alto Charter the City Manager has pre-
pared and submitted to the City-Council,. by ___ letter of transmittal
dated April 11, 1966, an annual budget estimate for the fiscal
WHEREAS~ pursuant-to the provisions of Section 12 of
Article III of said Charter the Counc-il did on June 27, -1966,
hold a public hearing on said budget after giving public notice
thereof a) required by Chapter 2 (Administrative Code} of the
Pald Alto Municipal Code.
NOW,· THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN as follows:
That· the budget prepared by the City _Manager for the fiscal
year 1966-196 7 is hereby approved and adopted with the amendments__
as set forth in EXHIBIT A attached hereto and by reference·made
a part hereof.
That the suns set forth in said budget-as herein amended
for the various furlds and departments of the City are hereby

appropriated to the uses and purposes set forth therein.
That all expen_dit.ures macte on behalf of the City, directly
