REP.EALING SECTION 355b o~· CODIFIED ORDINANCE NO. 3
OF THE CITY O.F' ?ALO ALTO RELATING TO ONIVERSITY
AVENUE AS AN ARTERIAL STREET ..
The Council of the Ci tj' of Palo Al to DO ORDAIN
as f <?tllows:
T'.uat Section 355b of Codified O:rdinance No. 3
of the City :.of Palo Alto is hereby repealed; that
Uriivez-sity Avenue 'lff"ill no J.onger be d1~signated as
an·'arterial street; and that all arterial signs on
University ·Avenue be removed. Tbat :ln place of the
·arterial signs between Alma:,:Street and Cowper Street
inclusive,: there: be erected stop signs. Further,
that at the intersection of Middlefield Road and
University Avenue there be erected st<>P signs on all
four cor:nersG
The City Clerk is hereby directeid to post a
·copy·of this ordinance upcn the bullet.in board at
the City Hall upon passage ..
The above and foregoing ordlnance was introducec
at a. regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Palo Alto on Monday, the.14th day of August, l9o3, and
o:ri the.·. same date all rules were waived and the ordinance
was pass:ed on first read~ng as an emergi~ncy ordinance,
by the f o1'1owing vote on roll call·:
