AN ORDINANCE AJ!Q!:JiDING SEQTION J.OllA OF TEE PALO ALTO

The Council of the City of Palo Alto DO ORDAIN
as follows:
That Paragraph 2 of Section lOllA of the Palo Alto
Zonin.g .. Ordinance be amended to read as follows:

buildings measured at any level (cornice level
excepted) shall not occupy more than 70% of the
lot width me.as:ured at a."'ly point; also the least
width of either side yard, measured at any level

added to the least width of the other side yard
mea.s·ured similarly, shall not be less than 30% of
.the total lot width at any point. Exception:
In the case of irregular triangular lots, the
permissible· building width may be calculated as
follO\'\l:S.: · On that portion of the lot fifty feet
qr les~ in width, the width of the building or
group.of.' buildings shall not occupy more than. 70%
of the lot width at any· poiz1t; provided, however,
that on the wider portions or the lot the permiss
ible building width may be :L.ncreased at the ratio

The City Clerk is hereby· directed to post a
copy of this ordinance upon the bulletin board at the
rrity Hall upon passage.
The above and foregoing ordinance was introduced
at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Palo
Al to on Monday, the 14th day of Au.gust, 1933, and on the
same date all rules were waived ai::1d th•: ordinance was
passed on :'first res.ding as an eme:t:'g ency ordinance, by
the .following. vote on roll call:
