That Section e of Ordinance N~. 548 be amended
t~ read as follows:
Section 6. The ... Tax Collector may, upon
;a,pplicatio;J therefor and the payment of me Dollar ($1.00),
:issue. a temporary permit for any, dog brought temporarily
within the City of Palo Alto.. . Such permit shall not be
·"'alid .i. .. or more than· nirle ty-( 90) days, :nor shall more
than one. sucb. permit be issued for an~· dog within any .
1:J'n.e calendar year.. With each such permit there shall
::,€: given a metallic plate. or tag to be made so as to be
:readily distinguishable .from plates or tags issued re::

The City Clerk is hereby directed to post a
. copy, of' this ordina..'!'lce upon the bulletin board at the
City Hall upon passage.
