ORDAIN as follows:

Sec. 1. The City Clerk, Assessor, Auditor,
Tax Co"ll'ec tor, 'rreasu.rer, Attorney a.n.d Judge of
the Police Court shall give of'.ficie.1 bonds to the
City of Pa.lo Alto fior the faithful performance of their
dutie~s/.in such sums a.s the Council of· the City of
Palo Alto may deem. prope:-from time to time, -
the City of Palo Alto to pay all premiums upon
surety bonds when such bonds are given.
Sec. 2. The: City Clerk is directed to post
this ordinance on t:h.0 bulletin boa.rd"a.t the city
hall.·
The ordinance is declared by the Council
to be an em0rgency ordinance and is passed by
unanimous consent.
