ordain e.s follows:
Section 1. Section 49 of Article IY,
Part I.of Codified Ordina~e Uo. 2 of the City of
.Palo Alto is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 49: :SOA?.D OF COMM!~~CIAL .. U.~USEI:.:E1'TS:
The '1dvi so:ry Board on Comme rcis.l Amusements shall
consist of twelve members to be appointed by the
Mayor, witn the approval of the Council, for a term
of three years. .Provid e..d, how ever, that tht: :fir st
a.dvis cry board on commercial am us exnents appoln ted
under this ordins....'1ce shall "ue so appointed that
four of said members shall hold office for the term
of one year, four :t'or the term of two years and
four for the term of three years. This Board
shall adopt rules a.nd regulations to be approved
by the C ounci 1 to c a.rr; out the object and purposes
of its organization. It shall perform the duty
of advising the Council from time to tioe in regs.re.

addition, it shall perform all a.uties required

/The above and foregoing ordinance
was introduced at a mectmg of the City Council
held on the 14th da:r of Septe~ber~ 192b, and
tne~eafter duly passed on the ~3th day of
