That Ordinance No. 140 of the Town of Mayfield, entitled "Ordinance No. 140 Regulating and Establishing. ~ocation of Trades and Industries and Buildings a.nd the Location of Buildings Designed for Specific Uses, and Establishing the ~oundaries for said .Pu.rposes, and ~etablishing Seto~ck Lines and .Providing Penalties for the Viola­ tion of its Provisions", adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of M81:f'i-t!ld on the 14th dq of Uctober, 192~, and use of property zone map and setback line map ad.opted b-y said ordinance above referred to, are hereby ad.opted by the Council of the Ci t;y of Palo Al to:, and the zone a and setback lines shown thereon are made applicable to that portion of the City of Palo Alto within the former boundary lines of the Town of ~ayf1eld. §ection 2. Thie ordinance ie declared to be an emergency ordinance, which emergency arises out or the fact of the consolidation of the former Town of Mayfield with the City of ?alo Alto, and all ordinances of the former ~own, with certain exceptions as to ordinances providing for vested rights being repealed by said consolidation. The Gity Clerk ie directed to post this ordinance on the bulletin board .at the city hall and it shall go into e:ffc-ct at once. The above and forP.going ordinance was passed by unanimous vote of all members of the Council present at an adjourned regular meeting held on the 20th day of July, 1925, by the follow­ ing vote: A.YES: ·· NOES: Bertsche, Eonn, Cooley,Easte:rday,Hob~rt, ~ordan, ~elly, Thoits, Thomas.
